Our Story

our founders
Emmett and Sarah had been making kombucha for a while. Their kids were into it. Their mates were hooked. Family members were dropping by more often for a taste. Meanwhile the supermarket was full of drinks that were either straight-up-unhealthy, fake-healthy, or legit-healthy but not-so-tasty. They looked around and thought, “There’s a Remedy for that”!
So, they took a chance. They had a young family. No jobs to fall back on. A couple of credit cards. They had big aspirations and a simple belief. Now, while they’ve moved on from the kitchen bench, Remedy is still made the old-school way: in small batches, long-aged brewed for 30 days.
OH, CANADA
With all the gut loving goodness going on in Australia, it was only natural that Emmet’s brother Dan and his Canadian wife, Lisa, decided to bring Remedy to the Great White North.
In early 2019 they did just that and now Canucks from the streets of Vieux-Montréal to the ski hills of the Rocky Mountains are downing Remedy’s drinks.
